Chapter 4: The Moonlight Battle

As the heroic blue hedgehog was talking to Emerald and the gang, Sonic saw the moon and he screamed as if he was in pain and he turned into his horrific state once more. Sapphire and Amy Rose and Jasper were scared out of their minds! Emerald was ready to fight him for practice later on, cause he has to stop the evil doctor from ruling the world and he has to stop a tyrant and his evil son from achieving the same thing. It's his destiny to kill Bowser and Bowser Jr. and help Sonic stop Dr. Eggman from taking over the world. Emerald had no choice. He also betrayed Bowser when he was 5 years old because Bowser had kidnapped him and his brother Jasper and forced them to work for him against their will. Emerald and Jasper betrayed him, and Emerald almost got killed because of it. Emerald just barely made it. Jasper was a whole different story. He got tortured as less, but he almost died too. Now. The Reason why Sapphire sent the whole police and high speed pursuit units after Emerald was because she was worried about her older brother and he ran away from home again so he could help Sonic restore the Chaos Emeralds. Chip was talking to Sonic and the others. He still couldn't remember who he was. Chip said, "So Emerald, what brings you here?? I know you're good friends with Sonic, but I'm curious on why you're here." Emerald replied happily, "Well Chip, the reason why I'm here is because Sonic called me over and I showed up, but he was a werehog and believe me, he freaked me out a little! I'm the guardian of the 7 Chaos Emeralds and I'm also the guardian of the 7 Super Emeralds. It is my duty to protect them. I was with Sonic when that idiot of the doctor turned Sonic into a werehog and scattered the Chaos Emeralds all over the place. The Chaos Emeralds, even if they're powerless now, must be protected at all costs. I won't allow this to happen again. You can count on it." Chip replied, "Ah. Thanks Emerald." Then, a maroon and blackish hedgehog walked up to Chip and startled him on purpose. It was Jasper The Hedgehog, Emerald and Sapphire's little brother. He was laughing, but he knew that Chip hated being startled, so he apologized sincerely and calmed Chip down.
